Padlan Alcoreza Ricasio traces its roots to Salonga Ordonez Yap Sicat and Associates, a respected practice founded in the late 1960s by distinguished lawyers including Sen. Jovito R . Salonga, Amb. Sedfrey A Ordonez, Justice Pedro Yap, and Atty. Marciano C. Sicat. Their leadership established a tradition of excellence, integrity, and public service that continues to guide our work today.

When several senior partners entered government service after the 1986 EDSA Revolution, private practice was carried forward by Atty. Rody P. Padlan and Atty. Delia S. Sutton, whose commitment preserved long-standing client relationships and a strong reputation for dependable counsel.

Following the passing of Atty. Padlan in 2021, Atty. Joden B. Alcoreza, who has been part of the practice since 2007, continued the legacy of his mentor and the founders—upholding their values of professionalism, integrity, and personal service while embracing a modern, responsive, and solutions-oriented approach to legal practice. In the years that followed, Atty. Francis Nealle Ricasio joined the practice, further reinforcing its enduring commitment to thoughtful counsel and dependable advocacy. Together with fellow lawyers, they continue to honor a proud heritage while bringing energy, fresh perspectives, and strategic insight to every situation.
